Show more »I nominate David Howarth MP (Lib Dem, Cambridge). Since his election in 2005 he has been a principled and honest MP, who has always stood up for the rights of not just his constituents but everyone in Britain. His defence of the right to protest and his exposure of the dangers of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 was sterling work. He has also been a model constituency MP, always listening to the people who elected him and gaining respect from many in Cambridge who don't share his political philosophy. Show less »

Chris Mullin (Lab), for sharing his knowledge of how politics really works through great fiction and autobiography and for only having a black and white telly.
