We reply on you to protect your citizens and be there to provide representation when we're abroad. You do not lift a finger unless you are forced into a corner, mostly by the media. Do your job properly, try harder, afterall it is people like Simon Burkes family who pay your salary. You have an obligation to move heaven and earth to protect a british citizen overseas. WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU PROTECTED HIM. WHAT IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU. WHAT IF YOU, WERE STUCK IN PERU, YOU'D EXPECT EVERYONE TO DO MORE. And guess what, with your status they would. Shame every Bristh citizen doesn't have equal rights!!
