"During Afghanistan Conference, a side meeting on Yemen will be held. I am a Yemeni student in the UK and have been in touch with other Yemeni youth inside and outside the country to voice out our concerns. The group has launched this website http://www.resonateyemen.org/ to allow Yemeni youth to do so. The website is meant to focus the topic of discussion on counter-terrorism, because many speculate the Yemen-London meeting will be about that. We would like to summarize the responses and make them heard in the meeting somehow. Would that be possible?"

"What is UK doing regarding the criminal activities and war crimes committed by Israel against the people of Gaza.
It is a shame on anyone to stay silent, speacially in a position of power like a forign minister.
I want to be able to visit my family, which I am not allowed to, because of the Israeli imposed closure if Gaza, denying them the most basic human rights. It is disgracefull, that you are allowing it to happen while watching silently.

"My questions refer to the possibility of the EU offering an "Advanced Status" to Morocco.
Morocco continues to illegally occupy a large section of the Western Sahara. This is in violation of over 100 UN resolutions which acknowledge the Saharawi people's right to a self-determination referendum, and the International Court of Justice ruling that Morocco's claims to the territory are unfounded. The Moroccan Authorities take a heavy-handed approach to the Saharawis who campaign by peaceful means for self-determination. Hundreds are imprisoned without a fair trial, and face years enduring the most horrific forms of torture. These human rights abuses are well documented by NGOs such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. Firstly, therefore, I would like to know if - in your opinion - Morocco's track record on human rights warrants the award of an "Advanced Status" ?
So far, 155 international organisations from 26 different countries have called on the EU not to grant Morocco "Advanced Status" unless the Western Sahara is excluded from the Agreement (see
http://www.upes.org/body1_eng.asp?field=sosio_eng&id=1312
for a list of the organisations). Will Britain be actively encouraging the EU to comply with International Law in this case, (it failed to do so with respect to the 2006 EU - Morocco Fishing Agreements , which have allowed EU countries such as Spain to plunder the fisheries of occupied Western Sahara, without Saharawi consent)?"

"Hi, don't you think the commonwealth of nations should have a greater role in todays world? After all it can help encourage development in the African member states by encouraging investment, a free trade area for the commonwealth could work very well, you only have to look at NAFTA to see that such things can work. I feel that the commonwealth should be one of the top priorities alongside the UN and EU which are both also in dire need of reform."

"The situation in Sri Lanka appears to be getting even worse. While western countries and India appear to have abandoned attempts to persuade the government to call off its military offensive against the Tamil Tigers, will the international community do something to protect human rights there and persaude the Government of Sri Lanka to come up with a realistic political settlement to the countries ethnic crisis. Sri Lanka now has one of the worlds worst records for media freedom and protection of minority communities. Despite repeated promises it is not devolving power in any meaningful sense to areas in the east of the country where the Tamil and Muslim communites form a majority. It continues to use force or the threat of force to overcome any political opposition by the minority communities. "

"Mr. Milliband,
I am totally confused over the foreing policy of UK on Afghanistan and Pakistan after the end of Cold War. Is your government really concerned over the instability of Afghanistan or keeping the strategic partnership with Pakistan at the cost of religious fundamentalism spread in the region? How do you justify the death of more than 100 UK soldiers in Helmand only in 2009? Belongign to one of the most democratic nations on Earth, how do you justify the presense of UK troops in Afghanistna while dealing with Taliban?
Thanks."
